The original wedding nest website was created in January 2006. Rory wanted a website for his own wedding and couldn't find anything he really liked from the pre-made wedding website vendors. Each had different pieces that he liked, but none offered everything he wanted.

Instead of paying for a custom website from another company, he used the resources he already had to create a wedding website. Being a long time hobby web designer, this was a relatively painless task, although time consuming.

Now he uses his skill and knowledge to help other soon-to-be married couples get one more special piece for their perfect wedding at a reasonable price.

Rory Craig-Barnes has been designing and developing websites since 1996 when he was first introduced to the internet. From these humble beginnings Rory has gone on to produce websites for non-profit organizations, restaurants, private schools and many others. These designs always remained true to Rory's design philosophy, simple elegance.
